Does it hurt?
As topical anaesthetics are applied to the area before the enhancement takes place most clients have minimal discomfort and may feel nothing more than a prickly sensation.
Is it safe?
- At all times the strictest sterilization procedures are adhered to.
- Single sterile use needle cartridges are used and disposed of for each client with no risk of cross contamination.
- A surgical room is set up and cleared away for every new client - I use hypoallergenic pharmaceutical grade pigments which are selected for both purity and safety.
How long does the procedure take?
- The Initial consultation is approximately 20 - 40 minutes depending on which procedure clients are interested in.
- Pigment infusion process takes approximately 40 - 60 minutes.
How soon can I go out?
Immediately - although the colour at first appears darker - this lightens as the enhancement heals.
Does it take long to heal?
This varies between individual clients but normally depending on age and health it is about 1 - 3 weeks.
What if the style changes?
As a fully qualified Semi- Permanent Make-up Artist I will never do a 'trendy' enhancement. Instead, enhancements are chosen that enhance client's skin tone, hair and eye colour and which blend individually and have a natural finished appearance.
How long will it last?
Permanent make-up should last for several years. However, over time the colour will gradually fade. It is therefore recommend you have a colour boost every 12-18 months.
